We then went out and had THE most fun photoshoot down in Brooklyn soon after. The pics came out amazing, and she was able to bring out all types of positive, vibrant vibes and emotions out in me. “It felt a little vain when a friend suggested that I use a professional photographer for my dating-app photos. However, within about 30 seconds of meeting Riane, it became clear that making me look good was her job and I was simply a key participant in that process, not some vain model as I was initially imagining. Riane is extremely professional and gets right down to business, but in a way that leaves you feeling good about yourself and definitely more attractive. Riane and I had two sessions together: a shopping / style consultation and a photo shoot. Both sessions were amazing! Riane didn't make me feel bad about how little I knew about fashion. We spent an afternoon shopping, updating and fine tuning my wardrobe. She accommodated my own (limited) fashion tastes, and I didn't feel railroaded into wearing something uncomfortable or not "me". But she did encourage me to get a bit out of my fashion comfort zone.
As for the photo shoot, she is a pro in that area too! She picked a great location, and took a lot of great shots of me in my new wardrobe. All while putting me at ease and keeping things feeling natural and spontaneous. If you're considering using Riane as a stylist, photographer, or both... go for it!

Riane is extraordinary! I left our session together with dozens of fantastic photos that I use for both my personal and professional life. Riane advised me on my wardrobe and gave me excellent direction when we were shooting. She was friendly, personable, and a joy to work with. “Riane was fantastic to work with! We did a 2-hour shoot and got a variety of professional and casual shots. Riane made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera which helps make the shots look genuine and candid. She gives great direction, so I knew how to position my body or make a certain facial expression, to make the shots look great.
She also has a knack for finding cute backgrounds and environments that look great in the final shots. I have worked with a few other photographers in the past and Riane was by far the best. I could not be happier with the final result and I plan to work with her again in the future!”
